We are Stokes County Paranormal, a mother-daughter duo searching for remnants of the past. Since 2004, Michelle and Kimberly have dedicated their lives to seeking out, researching, and documenting the unexplained in an attempt to connect documented history with paranormal occurrences.
Our Why
Arts Education
Outside of the Paranormal realm, SCP is made up of local artists who strive to make arts education accessible to their community. That's why a portion of proceeds from the Danbury Ghost Tours and Investigations, and all proceeds from our festival raffles, go to the Stokes County Arts Council Scholarship Fund & SSHS All County Theatre.
Historical Preservation
Stokes County Paranormal is dedicated to preserving local history & folklore by keeping the mountains alive with ghost stories. Every year, SCP holds the Danbury Ghost Tours in partnership with a local nonprofit, The Stokes County Arts Council, to share local ghost stories and their ties to real people and history.
Accessability
Whether that be a modified ghost tour, or even a live stream investigation to bring our fellow paranormal enthusists along, we aim to make our tours, investigations, history, and locations accessible to all.
